Probably you already know how important music is for film. And if you’re not convinced, just watch a movie without the music. Often it’s the music that makes a movie. Think of The Gladiator, Pan´s Labyrinth , The Titanic, Schindler’s List or further back Once Upon a Time in the West. But listening to film music on your stereo is another thing.

Ever buyed a soundtrack because you were charmed by the music in the movie? And was it a good experience? Let me guess, two or three tracks contained the music you were looking for, the rest of the music were weak repetitions, was dull or uneasy to listen to. Wouldn’t it be great if you could pick the pearls from the different soundtracks and combine it for a nice listening experience? That’s what I thought because I listened (and still listen) to a lot of soundtracks. So I began creating soundtrack playlists.

And why not sharing these playlists with you? In this with information overloaded world it will save you a lot of time. Of course you can twist about my taste, but I´m sure many of you will enjoy the selection. And above all I’m objective,  it’s a private initiative just because I like film music and sharing my playlists. I´m planning to publish a playlist once in a while on Ultimate Soundtrack Playlists. If you don’t want to miss new playlists leave your email adress in the sidebar menu to follow.

If you have any questions or want to get in touch, sent me a message. Finally I want to close this background information with a lot of thanks for all composers for bringing the most wonderful music to life.

Just listen..
